Pics from Seattle

I had the opportunity to go to Seattle this last week and thought I would share some of the pics that took while I was there. I went there for work (training, meetings, and stuff) and while there we went to a Seattle Mariners baseball game. That was a neat experience. Anyways, here's the pics... Enjoy!!!

Here's a pic of the baseball game (obviously) between Seattle and Toronto. Toronto won 12-3 and Toronto hit a grand slam during the game which was cool to see.

The Seattle skyline. (Isn't that cool.)

Children update

It's been a while since I posted to this blog. I don't even know if this blog is used or viewed by anybody either. That's okay. I thought I'd post this anyways. We have any update on the kids. Jael is talking more then ever and has the greatest imagination. Anson is growing like a weed. We discovered that he really likes Cheerios and would rather feed himself then be fed. He has also learned how to crawl, pull himself up to standing on his own and he also started saying "Momma." It's really exciting to see them grow up and learn new things. Anyways, that about it for now. For the end of this blog, I would like to post a few pics of the kids that are pretty cute.

The other updates that we have are kind of interesting. We finally sold the house a few weeks ago. That is nice to have that off our shoulders. Most of you know also that at Christmas / New Year's our family car's tranmission went out. Well, we decided it was not worth fixing so we are donating to the Kidney Foundation and using it as a tax write off for next year's taxes. We are in the process of finding another care but of any timing that a car has to quit, this would be the best, right after we sold the house. We would save the money that we would've got from the house but instead we are buying a car. So it goes. Anyways, that's all the updates for now. Talk to you later.

Halloween with the Meza's

I just got emailed pics from the Meza's and I thought you might find them to be pretty good pics of their kids on Halloween.

It's been a while

It's been a while since I posted on this site. Dad has been the one posting most of the time and usually pictures. =) We have some good pics on the blog right now of most of the kids, if not all, which is cool.

I just thought I'd add some info on this blog about my new job in SLC, UT. If you are wondering (most everybody should know by now) I am no longer employed at Dell, Inc. I'm working for a company called Sodexho. They provide food services to companies around the world, such as HP, Schools, Hotels, etc. I will be working with the Granite School District as the Manager of Computer Support Services in their Food Service Dept. The Granite School District covers most of SLC and includes about 90 schools from K-12. I will be managing about 1-4 computers in each school. These computers allow the school to track all the kids that have lunch and their balances and such. It definitely keeps me busy as I get to drive all over SLC to all the elementary, junior high and high schools throughout the district. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

Right now, I'm staying with Robert and Lynnae in West Jordan, UT 5 days a week and going back to Twin Falls, ID on the weekends. I just happened to have a long weekend last week because of UEA (Utah Education Association), which is state wide and I believe is like teacher's inservice. I got to go home on Wednesday and stay until Sunday, which was nice. The reason for having to drive back and forth is we are waiting to get the house sold in Twin. Between the two open houses that we have had and the 2 1/2 weeks that it has been on the market we have had approximately 15-20 people look at it but we have had no offers yet. Pray that we get it sold soon so that we don't have to continue this too much longer. =)

That's it for now. I'll try writing more often but I'm not going to make any promises. =)

General Conference Weekend

We have one more session to go for General Conference. It has been a very good and uplifting conference. I will have to re-read the talks once they come out on the internet or in the May issue of the Ensign.

For those of you who would like to know where to listen to it online or when the CDs, DVDs, online version, etc is going to be available, check this site out.

Happy Easter!!!

I just thought I'd add a note to the site to wish everyone a happy easter. I hope everything is going well for everyone. If there is anything that you would like to share about what is going on in your life that you think others in the family might find interesting, don't hesitate to share it with us.

Again, Happy Easter!!! We are going to Mom and Dad's house and having dinner. Sarah and Eric will be coming over as well and all the kids will be participating in an Easter Egg hunt either in the yard or, most likely, in the house because of the weather. We will hopefully have pictures to share with all of you soon.

Have a good day.

Here is jael holding her baby in her new sling. She really enjoys carrying her baby around. She has to hold her finger up to her mouth and go "Shhh..." because the baby is sleeping. Posted by Hello
